SERVING SINCE 2000

OUR MISSION

The mission of Positive Approach, Inc. is to provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to live in the least restrictive environment possible while meeting each of their needs on an individual basis. Positive Approach, Inc. and those employed/contracting or representing our agency will support all individuals served with respect, dignity and in a positive manner.

ABOUT US

Positive Approach, Inc. was founded by Tracy and Russell McCoy in 2000. The owners have over 65 years’ experience and have worked in all aspects of direct care. We are a family owned and operated agency. The concepts that we hold true for ourselves dictate our attitude and actions towards others. We promote and project these values towards the individuals whom we serve. In so doing, we help to promote them into mainstream community and home life where their accomplishments give opportunities for growth and status not otherwise obtained. We accept the individual as being just that: an individual like no other. We do not attempt to change the individuality of the individual that we serve but strive to enhance, support, and broaden the person’s ability to become as independent as possible. We seek to develop the whole person through empowering the individuals that we serve to make choices and be involved in training and development. We support the individuals that we serve by guiding, encouraging, and directing them so they may achieve their highest level of independence.
